Green spaces are vital to environmental, social, physical and mental well-being so it is encouraging to see the Mayor of London recognising the importance of quality landscaping in urban areas. BALI encourages other mayors and local authority leaders to also consider the importance of landscaping and incorporate BALI accredited landscaping projects in their local plans!  [https://www.london.gov.uk/programmes-strategies/environment-and-climate-change/parks-green-spaces-and-biodiversity/green-roots-fund](https://www.london.gov.uk/programmes-strategies/environment-and-climate-change/parks-green-spaces-and-biodiversity/green-roots-fund)     Share: [facebook-f icon](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/12m-green-roots-fund-announced-for-london) [linkedin-in icon](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/12m-green-roots-fund-announced-for-london) [twitter icon](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/12m-green-roots-fund-announced-for-london) [envelope icon](mailto:?body=https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/12m-green-roots-fund-announced-for-london) ## Related posts [![](https://bali-policy.org.uk/hubfs/chris-boland-KZJ4ZgwcoNg-unsplash.jpg)](https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/bali-welcomes-positive-forecast-and-support-for-education-but-more-is-needed-to-deliver-business-certainty-for-the-future) ### [BALI welcomes positive forecast and support for education, but more is needed to deliver business certainty for the future](https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/bali-welcomes-positive-forecast-and-support-for-education-but-more-is-needed-to-deliver-business-certainty-for-the-future) [![](https://bali-policy.org.uk/hubfs/winston-tjia-IEAODDy0I18-unsplash.jpg)](https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/bali-land-use-framework) [Green spaces](https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/tag/green-spaces) ### [BALI: Land Use Framework](https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/bali-land-use-framework) [![](https://bali-policy.org.uk/hubfs/hasan-hasanzadeh-CcvUxF6sFFA-unsplash.jpg)](https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/bali-supports-the-proposed-suspension-of-fertiliser-tariffs) ### [BALI supports the proposed suspension of fertiliser tariffs](https://bali-policy.org.uk/news/bali-supports-the-proposed-suspension-of-fertiliser-tariffs) [![British Association Landscape Industries Logo](https://bali-policy.org.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/BALI-logo_website.png?width=250&height=150&name=BALI-logo_website.png "British Association Landscape Industries Logo")](https://www.bali.org.uk/home/) facebook-f icon [linkedin-in icon](https://www.linkedin.com/company/british-association-of-landscape-industries-bali-/?viewAsMember=true) [twitter icon](https://x.com/BALI_Landscape) [instagram icon](https://www.instagram.com/balilandscapeuk/?next=%2Fmiasdesigns_%2F) [Follow us on Facebook](https://www.youtube.com/@BALILandscapeUK) **contact BALI** Landscape House, Stoneleigh Park, Nr Kenilworth, Warwickshire, CV8 2LG   +44(0)24 7669 0333 +44(0)24 7669 007 [contact@bali.org.uk](mailto:contact@bali.org.uk)   **quick links** [join our association](https://www.bali.org.uk/members/join-our-association/) [member login](https://www.bali.org.uk/login/?dest=/my-bali/) [membership](https://www.bali.org.uk/members/) [news](https://www.bali.org.uk/news/) [events](https://www.bali.org.uk/events/) [find a ROLO training](https://www.bali.org.uk/lisscscs-2019/find-a-rolo-training-provider/) provider [LISS/CSCS](https://www.bali.org.uk/lisscscs/) **get in touch** For all enquiries, including membership, please get in touch.
